YOUR PRIVACY
For proper treatment, it is necessary for me, as your treating homeopath, to create a file. This is also a legal obligation imposed by the WGBO. Your file contains notes about your health condition and information about the examinations and treatments performed.
The file also includes information necessary for your treatment that I have requested from another healthcare provider, such as your general practitioner, with your explicit consent.
We do our best to safeguard your privacy. This means, among other things, that we:
- handle your personal and medical data with care,
- ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to your data
As your treating homeopath, I am the only one with access to the data in your file.
I have a legal duty of confidentiality (professional secrecy).
The data from your file can also be used for the following purposes:
- To inform other healthcare providers, for example, when the treatment is completed or when referring to another practitioner. This is done only with your explicit consent.
- For use during observation, in my absence.
- For anonymized use during peer review.
- A small part of the data from your file is used for financial administration, so that I or my administrator can prepare an invoice.
If I want to use your data for another reason, I will first inform you and explicitly ask for your consent.
These data in the client file are kept for 20 years as required by the law on the treatment agreement.
PRIVACY ON THE HEALTHCARE INVOICE
The healthcare invoice you receive contains the information requested by the health insurer, so you can claim this invoice with your health insurer.
- your name, address, and place of residence
- your relationship number
- your date of birth
- the date of the treatment
- a short description of the treatment, such as 'naturopathy treatment' or 'psychosocial consultation'
- the cost of the consultation
